HydroMetEC, a lifelong learning programme within the EIT RawMaterials Academy coordinated by NTNU, is organising an international seminar focused on hydrometallurgy and its role in the sustainable management of raw materials.
The seminar will take place online on 7 May 2026 (CET) and will bring together experts from academia and industry to share insights on topics such as metal extraction, recycling of critical raw materials, and innovative hydrometallurgical processes. The programme includes presentations on battery recycling, leaching processes, impurity management, and recovery of materials from industrial streams.
This event is particularly relevant for engineers, researchers, and professionals from the mining, metallurgical, recycling, and chemical industries, as well as students interested in advancing their knowledge in this field.
